I’ve been base training for 6 months now getting ready for the track season. Now the indoor track season is here, the workouts are more intense and the volume will need to be adjusted. This Wednesday I will be traveling out to Seattle, Washington to race 5k and see where summer, fall and half of winter training has put me. I have decided to taper slightly for this meet cutting the mileage slightly, adjusting workouts, weights, and drills accordingly. The race is 4 days away so the work is done now the most import job of all is here REST!
