2011 USA #3 ranked Triathlete
Nicole grew up as a competitive swimmer in youth/high school swimming before she went to college to run track and cross country. With injuries plaguing many of her college track seasons, she excelled primarily in cross country and took up cycling while rehabing from a major knee surgery in 2007. In 2008, she raced for the University of Virginia Cycling Team and won a Virginia State Road Racing Championship. Upon returning to running in 2009, she won several major amateur triathlon titles, including the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship. In 2010 she made her debut as a professional triathlete and quickly established herself as one of the top Triathletes in the country with a 3rd place at the USA Triathlon Professional National Championship, a 3rd place in the Lifetime Fitness Series, a USA Triathlon Professional Rookie of the Year Nomination and professional podium finishes at New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. Nicole is extremely thankful to be a part of RMR and looks forward to improving her run with the invaluable help of the team!
