UVA graduate student and former Geneseo XC&TF athlete pursues post collegiate racing career…
Lee Gabler began his racing career a purple Sentinel, running for his high school team in Ticonderoga, NY. After which, he attended SUNY college at Geneseo where he trained and raced for Coach Mike Woods and the Geneseo Blue Knights. There, Gabler spent most of his time studying Physics and Mathematics, but also found a passion for the sport of running. After graduating from Geneseo in May 2011, Gabler began work on his doctorate at the Center for Applied Biomechanics in UVA’s department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Unable to give up his passion for running, he decided to pursue racing with the post collegiate professional team RMR.
