Biladeau wins Acumen Solutions Race For a Cause 8k

Andy Biladeau continues his successful season on the roads, coming out in first place at the Arlington, VA road race.  He finished in 23:43 for 8k, winning by 14 seconds.

Columbus Half Marathon

Thomas Adam ran a 37 second PR to finish 9th overall at the Columbus Half Marathon on Sunday.  Next up for Adam will be Club Cross Country Nationals in Charlotte, NC.

RMR welcomes massage therapist, Ernie Kidd

In order to help with the recovery of the RMR athletes, Ernie Kidd has agreed to be RMR’s official massage therapist. Kidd has been a massage therapist for 20 years, working with a variety of sports-related clients, ranging from cyclists and runners to most notably the Olympic Atlanta 1996 indoor volleyball team. What drives Kidd is his passion for his profession and the satisfaction of aiding people succeed in their endeavors.

Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women

Ann Mazur Competed in the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women on Monday in Boston, MA. Mazur placed 50th out of 6694 women, running 38:42.

Toyota US Open Triathlon

RMR triathlete Nicole Kelleher placed 8th this past weekend at the Toyota US Open Triathlon in Rockwall, Texas. More importantly, this race completed the Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series Race to the Toyota Cup in which Kelleher finished 3rd overall. The Life Time Fitness Series was in its first year of existence and included the six most prominent international distance races in the United States. It was open to both amateurs and professional triathletes, all vying for the title of Toyota Cup Champion. Bank of America Chicago Marathon

Louise Knudson ran a personal best time of 2:50:23 despite the heat at the Chicago Marathon this weekend in Chicago, IL. Even though Chicago is known for being a fast course, the warm temperature hampered most runners’ performances as it reached the high 70’s by the end of the race. Knudson was able to overcome this by running a smart, patient race, going out controlled in 1:26:42 then coming back with a 1:23:41 second half. Knudson’s 56th place finish bested her Boston marathon performance in the spring by just over a minute.

US Men’s Marathon Championships – Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon

Charlie Hurt represented RMR in the US Men’s Marathon Championships this past weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hurt placed 32nd, running a personal record by 1:15 finishing in 2:26:46. The big PR was accomplished by smart racing tactics, as Hurt went out conservatively in 1:14:20 for the first half then came back strong in 1:12:26 for the second half.

Capitol 10M

Chris Post placed 5th overall at the Capitol 10M in Richmond, VA. Post ran 54:26, missing third place by 5 seconds and beating his previous record by 48 seconds.
